These services are designed to empower participants to manage their mental health and/or substance abuse issues by helping them to develop their own treatment goals and teaching them the knowledge and skills necessary to make informed decisions about their care. Our staff help clients take initiative for their treatment and have a greater purpose and clarity in their lives. A Skill Coach can help determine the participant’s motivation for change and gain a better understanding of their mental health and/or substance abuse issues. In turn, this allows participants to engage in treatment and develop stronger coping strategies and a healthy support system.
